Homemade BBQ Pork Ribs Recipe

How To Grill Barbeque Pork RibsPreheat oven to 300 degree F (150 degrees C).
The secret to these perfectly grilled BBQ pork ribs is to bake them FIRST.
Divide each full rack of pork ribs in half ( = 4 half racks). Rub salt, a generous amount of pepper, and 1 tablespoon chili powder over ribs. Wrap each half rack in aluminum foil and bake for 2 1/2 hours.
Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan over medium heat, saute the onions with the vegetable oil for 5 minutes. Whisk in the remaining ingredients. Bring your homemade barbecue pork rib sauce to a boil, then reduce heat. Simmer on lowest setting possible, uncovered, until sauce thickens (this can take up to 2 hours). Stir occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside.
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat (500 degrees F). The grill is ready when you can hold the open palm of your hand 1 - 2 inches above the grill grate for only 1 - 2 seconds before pulling away.
Remove the ribs from the oven and allow to rest 10 minutes. Remove the foil and place pork ribs on the grill. Barbeque pork ribs for 3 to 4 minutes per side while brushing everything with the bbq sauce. Remove from grill. Then brush grilled pork ribs with remaining homemade barbecue sauce just before serving.
