Easy Bacon Grilled Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients

Each pepper and shrimp is wrapped in one-half piece of bacon. So adjust the amounts of your ingredients according to the amount of bacon you have.

  • Bacon slices, cut in half


  • Jalapeno peppers


  • Shrimp


  • Your favorite sweet bbq sauce
  • How To Make Bacon Grilled Shrimp

    Partially cook the bacon in the microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes.

    This makes the bacon easier to handle and speeds up the cooking process so your shrimp doesn't over cook on the grill while you're waiting for the bacon to cook completely.

    Preheat grill for medium-high heat.

    Wrap one shrimp and one jalapeno pepper with one half slice of partially cooked bacon.

    Grill bacon wrapped shrimp 5 - 7 minutes per side or until bacon is crispy and shrimp is opaque. Brush continually with bbq sauce.


    Easy Grilled Cajun BBQ Shrimp Recipe

    Ingredients
    (Serves 6)

  • 24 large shrimp, peeled and deveined


  • 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning


  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning


  • 1 lemon, juiced


  • 12 pieces of bacon, cut in half


  • Skewers


  • Melted butter
  • How To Make Easy Cajun Bacon Grilled Shrimp

    Add shrimp to a large bowl. Mix in lemon juice and seasonings.

    Partially cook the bacon in the microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes. This makes the bacon easier to handle and speeds up the cooking process so your shrimp doesn't over cook on the grill while you're waiting for the bacon to cook completely.

    Wrap each shrimp with one half-piece of bacon and place on skewers.

    Clean and preheat grill for medium-high heat.

    Oil grill grate and grill bacon wrapped shrimp for 5 - 7 minutes per side. Brush occasionally with melted butter (have a sprayer handy to control grill flare-ups).
